Vice President of Operations

Position Overview
The Vice President of Operations will oversee the company's operational processes and ensure efficiency in all aspects of the organization. This executive role involves improving operational performance, managing budgets, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals while maintaining compliance and managing risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Manage the budget for all operational functions, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize inventory and streamline logistics processes.
  • Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to assess operational success and make data-driven decisions.
  • Drive change management initiatives to enhance operational practices and adapt to market demands.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, mitigating risks associated with operational activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Experience in supply chain management and vendor management.
  • Excellent team leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with a successful track record.
  • Ability to analyze data and leverage insights for strategic decisions.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and risk management principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
