Job Title: Underground Telecom Foreman

Requirements: 5+ years of telecom construction and installation experience. Underground installation experience required.

Position Overview:
The Underground Telecom Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating underground utility projects related to telecommunications. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while managing a team of technicians and laborers in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the underground telecom crew.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for underground utilities.
Plan and schedule work to meet project deadlines and budgets.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and proper installation of telecom infrastructure.
Manage the installation, splicing, and maintenance of fiber and cable systems.
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
Provide training and mentorship to crew members on best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Foreman or similar role in telecom or construction.
Strong knowledge of underground utility installation practices and standards.
Familiarity with VDOT regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with fiber optic and cable installation, splicing, and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
