Location: Center, CO - Relocation Available
Salary: $52,000-$62,000 + 20% Bonus + Benefits

What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for managing the Center, CO plant Quality Assurance Department.
Responsible for managing the Center, CO plant quality assurance, GMP, HACCP, allergen, and food safety policies, programs, and procedures.
Responsible for sanitation programs, including master sanitation schedule, environmental monitoring, review of daily, weekly, start-up and shutdown sanitation and cleaning documentation and records, plant inspections to validate sanitation levels meet company requirements.
Responsible for monitoring pest control program and working with third party pest control provider to ensure the program meets company requirements.
Will interview, hire, train, schedule, and supervise the Lab Technicians in the Quality Assurance department, including Analytical and Bacterial Lab Techs.
Direct Lab Technicians and other relevant workers in the testing, analyzing, and record-keeping of the chemical and physical properties of in-process and finished product.
Instruct Technicians on appropriate and proper chemical processing and testing procedures, ensuring Good Laboratory Practices and all quality and safety standards are met.
Prepare solutions, compounds, and reagents necessary in Lab procedures.
Provide customer support for QA related needs.
Ensure accurate and timely ERP input as related to QA department.
Responsible for tracking product quality, hold inventories and blend back/disposition of non-conforming products.
Work with production to ensure compliance with product specifications and to provide support.
Maintain legible records (in English) of testing results, audits, and other documents as required.
What You Need for this Position
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing utilizing the English language.
Knowledge and competency in all laboratory and testing methods including (but not limited to) analytical, chemical, and microbiological methods.
Use logical, deductive, or inductive reasoning; identify complex problems and develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
Intermediate knowledge of a Windows-based computer system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software.
Management and supervisory experience in a laboratory setting, including personnel management and workflow management.
Prior work experience in the potato processing industry preferred.
