Power System Studies Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Power System Studies Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting power system studies to ensure reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems. This role involves analyzing load flow, performing arc flash studies, and providing recommendations for system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct load flow analysis to assess the performance of power systems.
Perform arc flash studies to identify potential electrical hazards and recommend safety measures.
Develop and maintain power system models for analysis and simulation purposes.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation of study findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with project teams and clients to address power system challenges.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all studies and recommendations.
Stay informed on the latest technologies and methodologies in power system analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in power system studies and analysis.
Strong knowledge of load flow analysis techniques and software tools.
Familiarity with arc flash analysis and safety standards.
Relevant certifications such as PSE, CEM, CESCP, or a Power Systems Certificate are preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
