Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and experience in using advanced engineering software tools.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate design concepts.
Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Perform testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with standards.
Utilize BIM 360 and Revit for project collaboration and design integration.
Implement energy-efficient designs in line with LEED standards.
Analyze energy consumption using Trace 700 and Energy Pro software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in mechanical design and development.
Proficient in CAD software, particularly Revit and/or BIM 360.
Knowledge of LEED principles and energy-efficient design.
Bonus points for Bluebeam, Trace 700 or Energy Pro software for energy analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
