Title: Maintenance Technician - Food Manufacturing
Location: Mebane, NC 27302 (in between Greensboro & Durham)
Pay: $32 - $38 / Hour + Overtime

2-2-3 Work Schedule - Hours: 6:30am-6:30pm

Founded in 1932 we are a 3,000 employee global manufacturer of baked goods & snacks famously our Biscoff cookies. We have factories in 5 countries including this 200 employee facility here in Mebane which was built in 2018. This is a temperature controlled 250,000 sqft facility with all new automated equipment and it is very clean inside. We have grown 30% in the past 2 years as we continue to expand our product line and investing in new technologies. For our Mebane facility we are hiring 4 Maintenance Technicians on the 6:30am-6:30pm 2-2-3 shift who have a strong food manufacturing background when it comes to Maintenance.

What You Will Be Doing

Troubleshoot & repair electrical systems on ovens, conveyors & packaging machines
Maintain case packers, bottling machines & chiller conveyors to ensure smooth operation
Service food-grade valves, solenoids & pneumatic systems following safety standards
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime & maximize efficiency
Work w/ production teams to improve equipment reliability & resolve technical issues

What You Need for this Position

5+ years experience w/ industrial electrical systems, wiring & PLC troubleshooting
Skilled in conveyor systems, ovens & packaging machinery maintenance
Knowledge of case packers, bottling machines & chiller conveyors
Familiarity w/ food-grade valves, solenoids & pneumatic systems
Ability to read schematics &diagnose mechanical & electrical issues
