Boutique Trusts & Estates Firm Seeking Estate Planning Attorney in Houston, TX
A highly respected Houston-based law firm with over 40 years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and fiduciary litigation is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney to join its practice. The firm represents high-net-worth individuals, families, closely held businesses, and fiduciaries in complex estate and wealth transfer matters. This role offers the opportunity to work with seasoned attorneys in a collaborative environment dedicated to sophisticated planning and client service.
Offer:
$140,000 - $180,000 annual base salary depending on experience and book of business

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas
4+ years of experience in estate planning, wealth transfer, and trust and estate administration
Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and family offices
LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax laws
Exceptional drafting, client advisory, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive client relationships and maintain discretion and professionalism
Responsibilities:
Design and implement advanced estate plans including irrevocable trusts, GRATs, FLPs, and charitable structures
Advise clients on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, business succession planning, and asset protection
Draft complex estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments
Assist with estate and trust administration, including probate proceedings and fiduciary guidance
Collaborate with clients' financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive plans
Stay current on evolving tax laws and estate planning strategies relevant to high-net-worth individuals
