Position Overview
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring that financial practices align with statutory regulations and company policies. This role includes managing the accounting department, preparing financial reports, and developing budgets to guide the organization's financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and forecasts.
Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial projections.
Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
Coordinate the preparation of the audit and tax filings with external auditors and tax advisors.
Support management in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, ideally as a Controller.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Experience in the distribution and manufacturing sectors is a plus.
Familiarity with cost accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, with a strong understanding of general ledger operations.
Demonstrated experience in managing internal controls and audits.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
