Established Litigation Firm Seeking Business Litigation Attorney in Jacksonville, FL
A respected Jacksonville-based litigation firm with over 40 years of experience is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney to join its commercial practice group. Taylor Day Grimm & Boyd represents a diverse range of corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies, regional businesses, and professionals across Florida in complex commercial disputes. This position offers the opportunity to handle a variety of matters involving contract disputes, business torts, shareholder conflicts, and real estate litigation in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Offer:
$100,000 - $135,000 annual base salary depending on experience and trial background

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Florida
3+ years of business or commercial litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Experience with motion practice, depositions, discovery management, and trial preparation
Ability to manage multiple matters independently and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and local court practices
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in a wide range of commercial disputes including breach of contract, fraud, non-compete enforcement, and business torts
Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions; take and defend depositions; appear at hearings, mediations, and trials
Advise corporate clients on litigation risks and develop cost-effective legal strategies
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and case evaluations
Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and meet internal and client-driven deadlines
Participate in firm initiatives and contribute to business development efforts when appropriate
